A: take it to the shop, they won't charge you much..

Q: I have an f150 supercrew 2001 and i got 10 inch speakers kicker cvt so wat can i do to make it sound better???
the speakers are 4 ohm and go to 800 watts peak and 400 rms...and i have a v.a audio amp on them but they dont sound very good....wat can i do...oh yea and professionaly installed...

A: What do you mean by better??...LOUDER or better Sound Quality??...If they were profesionally installed and you want to be louder then I would put them in a ported box...that should give you more volume...just make sure the speakers were designed to work in a ported box...if you want better Sound Quality then..New speakers is the answer...I recommend JL Audio or Rockford Fosgate for SQ

Q: 2003 ford f150 f-150 supercrew help?
f150 supercrew 4x4 4.3l v8 the heat seems to get cold at lower rpms and hotter at higher rpms. i have coolant in the overflow tank, i havent checked the actual radiator, but its not running hot. what should i do? let me know if you need more info wow. thanks for answering that you dont know. really helped. hope you really needed those two points. just wanted to add this.. the heat seems to get hot quicker than the truck does when i first start it up in the mornings (its like -10F here in the mornings.). sometimes it will get cold while im driving down the road, once i park if i rev it, then it will get hot again. other times it works fine at both idle and while driving. the problem seems to be intermittent. if the water pump stops circulating water wont the engine overheat? its not running hot. also, i dont want to replace anything thats unneeded. i did just buy it recently and the guy had just flushed the coolant himself, so maybe there is just air in the lines. ive heard if you let it run at idle with the cap off the radiator it will slowly burp the air out of the system? thanks for the serious answers guys, i hate it when people leave stupid answers.

A: your water pump is getting old. when at idle the impeller has worn down over the years and now there is not enough impellor finds to push water when it idles. The heater coil is further away than the block so it has to have more pressure to pump there

Q: Changing Rotors and Pads on a 2001 F150 Supercrew?
Is there any place on the Web that gives detailed directions on chaning the Front Rotors and Brake Pads on a 2001 F 150 SuperCrew 4X4?

A: You can go to www.alldata.com or www.myford.com for information reguarding your F150, better yet take it to your local dealership for repair. BUT if you don't know what you're doing and you're messing around with your stopping power then you had best take it to a trusted and certified technician that does know what he is doing before you get yourself and someone else seriously hurt. The brake system is not one that you want to experiment with and what's the use in going fast when you can't stop?

Q: I just bought a 2005 F150 Lariat Supercrew and I would like to know where I can find the door unlock code?

A: Remove the rear seatback assembly and the trim panel behind it, to access the VSM (Vehicle Security Module). The module will have two electrical connectors connected to it. On the label will be a part number similar to 5L3T-15K602-AA. There will also be FIVE numbers. Those FIVE numbers are your keyless entry keypad code. Hope this helps.

Q: 2006 Ford F150 SuperCrew Lariat?
I have as said above a 2006 fordt f150 supercrew lariat with the 5.4. Recently I have had my brakes howl when I apply pressure to the pedal. It is not all the time though, it only happens about 40% into the pedal push for about half a second, unless I hold it in that spot then it will keep howling. I've checked the brake pads, they are not worn yet, the rotors look fine, there is not dust or dirt in or around the pad or rotor. Does anyone know what might be going on?

A: not worn yet? how many miles on a 2006...its 3 yrs old....they can "look" fine and be glazed....throw on a new set of pads less than 100 dollars.

Q: What are the biggest tires I can fit on a 2003 F150 (Supercrew Lariat FX4)?
What are the biggest tires I can fit on a 2003 F150 (Supercrew Lariat FX4)? I am using the stock 17" fx4 wheels that came with the truck. I am also putting a 3" Body lift kit from performanceaccessories.com. Here is the information on the lift kit: Part#: 70043 from website http://www.performanceaccessories.com I'll also be cranking the torsion bars up as far as they will go to give some extra room. I want to get some BFG All Terrain tires, and was hoping to get a set of 37" tires on the truck with the modifications listed above. I've heard that the BFG 37" tires actually measure to be 35". Here is a link to a guy that has an 03 f150 supercrew fx4 just like mine, and is supposedly using 37" tires. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2914609 Any information you can give would be greatly appreciated. I'm also NOT really willing to do any additional modifications other than what are listed above... with exception to maybe something small. Thanks for the help! =)

A: 35" BFG's sound like a great option with that Lift Kit! and the Truck will Look Sick! PS: You don't have to have a 3" lift to stuff those 35" under the front, have you thought about a leveling kit?
