Q: How do I remove the stock grill emblem on a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 Crewcab Pkup?
I have purchased a chrome GMC emblem to replace the stock emblem but I'm not sure how to remove the old emblem without damaging something
A: check the back side of the grill as you may be able to disconnect there ir drill out.
Q: Some good performance upgrades on 2008 GMC Sierra 4.3 V6?
What are some good performance upgrades i can put on this truck? Looking for any suggestions. Any ideas?

Q: Bigger tires for a 2008 GMC Sierra 3500 4x4?
Can some one tell me what are the biggest tires I can put on without lifting it.
A: I'm not sure about the 3500 but i squeezed 285s under my '07 2500 and then i bought a lift kit when it came out. They rubbed at full turn, but that didnt last long. i trimmed a bit and then managed to squeeze 38's under the truck with a 6inch lift.
Q: 2008 Chevy Avalanche LTZ or 2008 GMC Sierra Denali?
well I Im still trying to decide what car to get, the two candidates this time are an 08 fully loaded chevy avalanche LTZ 4x4 or an 08 fully loaded GMC sierra denali 4x4, wich one do you think is a better choice and why? wich one do you think gets more attention and catches peoples eyes more?
A: Depending if you are driving off road.. The Denali is not 4x4, it's AWD. It is not the same and if you plan to drive off the road, get the Avalanche.... If it's a road queen, go for the Denali. The 6.2 engine is bad @ss. I test drove one when I bought my Duramax and it is quick.
Q: Does anyone know if a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab will offer a backup camera as an options?
A: As of today at this time GMC does not have a rear camera as an option. It may change but it will require the navigation system to get it when it does become available. The Chevy Avalanche does offer it as well as the Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon. It may change at a later date.
Q: Are there replacement wiper blades for a 2008 GMC Sierra?
A: You have to go to the dealer for them.
The after market part stores have not got them out yet.
As they changed them.
We stock wiper blades at our shop and have only been able to get them from dealer.

A: Turn your radio to channel 0, this will give you your radio ID, then call XM radio with that info

Q: Do 2008 GMC sierra 1500's have speed limiters?
I can't go over 90miles per/h
A: most newer cars have speed limiters that coincide with the speed rating of the tires, your sierra has truck tires on it and the government has decided that it is unsafe to exceed 90mph on those tires, as stated in a previous answer you can disable the speed limiter by using an aftermarket programmer, on hummers we may use hypertech...i mean... if we were to make such changes at the dealer.... but... ya we wouldn't do that under warranty would we??
Q: How do you like your new 2008/2009 GMC or Chevy Sierra or Silverado?
I am in the market for a new truck. I currently own a 1989 GMC K1500 Single cab, step-side short bed with the 5.7, 350 motor...I have been looking around and have really fallen in love with the new Sierra...Could someone please give me their feelings on the new truck (only if you own one please) I am trying to get a first hand review. Thanks! :)
A: Be very weary of purchasing anything from GM. It is very difficult to do warranty work with GM--they blame everything on the customer so you end up paying your monthly car payment plus repairs that GM won't pay for.
It is a new scam, because GM is struggling with costs.
Q: Rear bumper dent in my 2008 gmc sierra?
If i get a hammer and a piece of wood and hit it from the inside out will it make it go away. or is it better to take it to a body shop and spend hundredths on it? Dent is about 5in long and 5in wide and about 1in deep
A: No you will never get it straight by hammering on it. It will always look tacky. The only way to fix it and make it look right is to replace the bumper. The body shop wont mess with it they will replace it also..Get a new one or try the salvage yard there should be some around by now.......md
Q: 2008 gmc sierra front cover seats?
i want to front seat covers from ebay but is asking me to choose between bucket seats or 40-20-40 seats but i dont know what kind my truck has or does it make a difference will both work
A: well bucket seats are just 2 seats with a center console in the middle, no seat int he middle but i think the 40-20-40 is a bench seat that goes all the way across
Q: i bought a 2008 gmc sierra it has a 6.0 motor does it have fuel management?
i saw that all 08 models had fuel management in city it works with four cylinders and on hwy 8 cylinders but i dont know if the 6.0 motor has it.

Q: What size RIMS should i put on my gmc sierra 2008?
i was thinking of putting 22in or 24in rims but i cant decide. I don't want to raise or lower my trucks i just want some good size rims that would look clean on my truck. And what kind of brand do you recommend to get for tires and rims.thanks a lot!!!
A: I would stick with the factory rims & tires. Larger size rims & tires throw off the accuracy of your speedometer and it just makes the truck look out of proportion and silly.
